We’ve seen this movie before, and I don't like the ending. Haggling over €5M when you just lost a €50M target to a London club is absolute madness. Oumar Solet is exactly the type of beast our defense needs, but if we wait until Simeone sends his private jet to Friuli, it’s game over. You can’t build a dynasty on "almost" signings. Marotta needs to pay the man and get the contract signed before we’re left staring at a list of secondary targets in August.
